Exceptional Coffee. Two Thoughtfully Chosen Mushrooms.

Meet your morning coffee, with more to discover. Magic Munch pairs specialty Bolivian ground coffee with Lion's Mane and Turkey Tail fruiting-body extracts. Expect red cherry, bright citrus, graham flavor, and a cacao finish, roasted in small batches in Denver.

Real ground coffee. Not instant. No long list of mushrooms to decode.

What's Inside, and Why It Matters

  • Single-origin Bolivian coffee: Sourced from Caranavi in the Yungas region, with a specialty cup score of 85 to 87. High altitude, single-origin, well roasted citrus, graham, and chocolate forward coffee. No bitterness.
  • Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus): A mushroom studied for its potential role in cognitive and nerve health.
  • Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor (Coriolus)): A mushroom studied for its polysaccharides and their potential role in immune and gut health.
  • Fruiting-body extracts: We use 1:1 hot-water extracts of the mushroom fruiting bodies, not mycelium fermented grain.
  • Real, tested, published Beta-Glucan content: Approximately 823 mg per 18 g dry serving!

Functional Compounds. Measured and Explained.

Beta-glucans — approximately 823 mg: Mushroom compounds studied for immune support and their potential role in gut health. Calculated from the initial finished dry blend's lab-tested concentration of 4.57%.

Erinacine C — 131.4 micrograms (0.1314 mg): A Lion's Mane compound investigated for its role in nerve growth factor, a protein involved in nerve-cell growth and survival.

Adenosine — approximately 0.84 mg: A naturally occurring compound involved in sleep signaling and blood-flow regulation. Its presence does not mean this coffee improves sleep or counteracts caffeine.

Adenine (hemisulfate) — approximately 1.14 mg: Adenine is a building block your body uses to make ATP, the molecule that supplies energy to cells. This amount is reported as adenine (hemisulfate) in the sample results.

All amounts are calculated per 18 g dry serving from the initial finished-blend beta-glucan result and the published R&D sample COA for the other compounds. They are not measurements of brewed coffee or proof of health benefits from this product. View the lab results.

Clear Ingredients. Published Testing.

Our blend contains Bolivian coffee, Lion's Mane extract, and Turkey Tail extract. No fillers or mycelium fermented grain. The mushroom extracts are Certified Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, and Halal. The coffee is not certified organic.

Explore our lab results for the testing details. Ingredient identity and measured results are public; our exact blending proportions and production details are not part of this product summary.

From Bolivia to Your Morning Routine

Our beans come from Caranavi, in Bolivia's Yungas region, grown at 1,400 to 1,700 meters above sea level. They were selected through cuppings in Bolivia for a flavor profile that stands on its own and pairs with the mushroom extracts.

Small-batch roasting in Denver brings out the red cherry, citrus, and cacao notes. Brew a cup, add your preferred milk or sweetener, and make the morning yours.

How to Brew

Use your usual ground-coffee method: drip, French press, pour-over, Chemex, or AeroPress. Start with 18 g of dry blend and 270 g of water, a 1:15 ratio, and adjust to taste. Aim for water around 200°F / 93°C.

Brewing changes what reaches your cup. Our published dry-blend amounts are not measurements of the prepared drink.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Magic Munch mushroom coffee?
Specialty Bolivian ground coffee blended with Lion's Mane and Turkey Tail fruiting-body extracts. It is ground coffee, not instant.
Does it taste like mushrooms?
Coffee comes first: red cherry, citrus, and a cacao finish, with a subtle earthy character from the extracts. Taste is personal, so brew it to your preference.
What does 1:1 hot-water extraction mean?
It describes the extraction ratio, not the beta-glucan percentage or proof of a health benefit. We use 1:1 fruiting-body extracts and report testing of the finished dry blend separately.
Why only two mushroom species?
We chose Lion's Mane and Turkey Tail for a focused blend rather than a long species list. Their compounds are studied for potential cognitive, immune, and gut-health roles; that research does not establish the same effects from this coffee.
What are beta-glucans?
Naturally occurring compounds in mushroom cell walls. Certain mushroom beta-glucans are studied for interactions with immune cells and potential gut-health roles. Our initial finished dry blend tested at 4.57% beta-glucans, equivalent to approximately 823 mg per 18 g dry serving, calculated from the measured concentration. This is not a measurement of brewed coffee or a proven clinical dose.
What are adenine, adenosine, and Erinacine C?
Compounds reported in our published R&D sample results. Adenine is a building block used in cellular energy molecules; adenosine has roles in sleep signaling and blood-flow regulation; Erinacine C is investigated in nerve-health research. Their presence does not prove that this coffee improves sleep, prevents jitters, or produces a brain-health benefit.
What does fruiting body mean?
The mushroom itself, rather than mycelium grown on grain. Our extracts are made from fruiting bodies, without mycelium fermented grain or fillers.
Can I drink it every day?
It is designed for a coffee routine and contains caffeine. Consider your caffeine tolerance. If pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a medical condition, ask your healthcare provider whether it suits you. We do not promise a timeline for results.
Is it organic and lab-tested?
The mushroom extracts are Certified Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, and Halal. The coffee is not certified organic. We publish lab reports and distinguish measured dry-blend results from research into potential benefits.
How do I prepare it?
Brew like ground coffee using drip, French press, pour-over, or another preferred method. Start with 18 g of dry blend and 270 g water, then adjust to taste.
Can I subscribe?
Yes: 15% off every 2 or 3 weeks, 10% off monthly. Pause or cancel anytime.
Does it contain Chaga?
No. Magic Munch uses Lion's Mane and Turkey Tail fruiting body extracts only.
